- One more note on the Navy: "We defend a democracy but we are not a democracy". Simple but thought-provoking.

Had a chance to hear former Secretary of the Navy and former Mississippi Governor, Ray Mabus, speak the other day. Very intersting guy. In particular, these quotes stood out:
